A district court in Minsk on April 19 started to hear a case against Belsat TV cameraman Alyaksandr Lyubyanchuk.
Mr. Lyubyanchuk was arrested on March 31 during a police raid on a Belsat TV office in Minsk and subsequently charged with disorderly conduct. In particular, the man was accused of uttering obscenities at the Pershamayski district police station, where he was driven after the arrest.
The trial is to resume on April 20 because the police officers who had testified against the journalist did not show up on Wednesday.
