Three Belarusian contributors to Russia's Regnum News Agency were found guilty of incitement to ethnic hatred and sentenced to suspended prison sentences on Friday.
A judge of the Minsk City Court sentenced each of Yury Pawlavets, Dzmitry Alimkin and Syarhey Shyptsenka to a suspended five-year prison term with three years' probation.
The trio, who had been in custody since December 2016, were released in the courtroom.
The men were arrested over their articles on the website, which is widely accused of fanning Russian chauvinism toward other ex-Soviet nations and spreading anti-Western propaganda.
