Two polling stations were opened in Belarus on Sunday morning to enable citizens of Ukraine to vote in the first round of Ukraine’s presidential election.

As many as 749 Ukrainians cast their ballots at the Ukrainian embassy in Minsk and 304 people voted at the Ukrainian consulate general in Brest, according to Ukraine’s central election commission.

Comedian Volodymyr Zelenskiy reportedly gained 41 percent of the vote at the two polling stations in Belarus.
