Three more residents of Minsk went on trial on Tuesday for painting graffiti on a sidewalk close to the site where anti-government protester Aliaksandr Tarajkoŭski was shot and killed this past August.

Dzianis Hrachanaŭ, 42, Ihar Samusienka and Uladzislaŭ Hulis, both 25, are accused of painting “We will not forget” on the sidewalk near an entrance to the Puškinskaja subway station. The men, who have been held in custody since October 21, are answering criminal charges of hooliganism and intentional damage to property.

Last week, Maryja Babovič, 25, and Maksim Paŭliuščyk, 26, went on trial for painting the same phrase on a sidewalk close to the place of Mr. Tarajkoŭski's death.
